Summary
Everyone has the right to adequate housing. This right is affirmed in dozens of international treaties, conventions, charters, policies, and laws. But what does adequate actually mean? Is it purely subjective, or are there standards to which we can hold one another accountable?
In honor of World Refugee Day, June 20th, the entire month of June we are inviting our Houston community to bring their people on a shelter tour. There, you’ll learn more about the refugee crises, encounter what a refugee family’s home might look like, and learn how We Can Help bring hope, stability, and opportunity for the world’s most vulnerable families.
